      Test cases defined by developers:

      https://wiki.fd.io/view/CSIT/PerfTestPlan/SRv6

      + additions by Pablo Camarillo:

That PerfTestPlan TCs cover the SRv6 functionality for an entire topology in the most basic configuration (Ipv6 traffic encapsulation).

      • TC1 is encapsulation for IPv6 traffic with SRH insertion in the new (outer) header
      • TC2 covers End behavior, which is regular transit (SRv6 endpoint)
      • TC3 covers End.DX6 behavior which is the egress behavior (decapsulation and ipv6 xconnect).

In order to have all the possible configurations we would like to be able to encapsulate and decapsulate IPv4 traffic and L2 as well. This implies:

      • TC4 (child of TC1) is encapsulation for IPv4 traffic with SRH insertion in the new (outer) header
      • TC5 (child of TC3) End.DX4 (decapsulation and ipv4 xconnect)
      • TC6 (child of TC1) encapsulation of L2 frames...
      • TC7 (child of TC3) End.DX2 (decapsulation and L2 xconnect).
