unable to create vxlan interface

      Honeycomb: 1.17.10-3194

       

      Creating a VxLAN or VxLAN GPE tunnel using Honeycomb(see Postman attachment) fails with TimeoutException, as it causes VPP to crash and restart.

       

      However, performing the equivalent configuration using VAT works as expected.

      vat# vxlan_add_del_tunnel src 192.168.1.6 dst 192.168.1.9 vni 88 encap-vrf-id 0

       

      According to Jenkins history, first failure occurred August 14th on build

      triggered by VPP change:

      But the change does not seem related. The issue could also be caused by changes to Honeycomb project around that time, as those are not tracked.
