So far we have been creating ACL rules that takes into account the packet from the very beginning (ethernet header or any sort of encapsulation that we might have). This makes difficult to punt packet that comes from different adjacency (ethernet, MPLS, ip directly). Using the current_data we will punt directly from the IP header, having one single punting mechanism working on for all the different types of adjacencies.
