The error seems to be related to the aggregate initialization of c structs (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/62694003/aggregate-initialization-of-anonymous-struct-with-designated-initializers).

With a more updated compiler version (like the one in ubuntu 20.04) the problem disappears.
