NSH Proxy is a important feature for NSH based SFC to integrate legacy NSH-unaware SFs. OpenDaylight SFC has supported NSH Proxy modeling and steer traffics to NSH-unaware SFs via the NSH Proxy, but the data plane support patches in NSH_SFC is not merged yet in 16.09 release. Two NSH Proxy relevant patches https://gerrit.fd.io/r/#/c/3944/ and https://gerrit.fd.io/r/#/c/2109/ are refactored and under review, which do bidirectional mapping between transport + NSH and VxLAN/VLAN transport.

Many potential VPP users (e.g. Ericsson, ZTE, Tencent) requires this feature, so it is expected to hit 1701 release, hence it could be used for OpenDaylight Carbon release as a total solution.
