The CLI call uses this binary API: bd_ip_mac_add_del. So we can expose Create and Delete functionality easily.
However I couldn’t find read anywhere in the VPP binary APIs, so it will be impossible for reading the ARP termination table for a bridge domain straight from VPP, meaning also no reconciliation possible with pre-configured VPP.
So if you could open a feature request for Honeycomb in jira.fd.io for adding “bridge-domain ARP termination table management” that would be great.- [Note AVanko *- done under HONEYCOMB-125]
