By mutual agreement, vpp code - and subsequent patches - must be formatted according gnu indent, with default options. Trailing spaces must be removed. In emacs, use "M-x c-set-style gnu"

Each file which has been cleaned up will include the following comment block at the end of the file:

All patches to files which have been cleaned up will be checked for coding style.
